The Dutch Smoked Ring is a typical Dutch dish that can come in very many different varieties. Ours at the Dutch Grill is a more traditional version which we have made relatively the same for over 80 years. This sausage is made from ground pork which we grind twice to ensure a fine structure of the sausage. After mixing our spices throughout we stuff the sausage into a hog casing, smoke it, and cook it. All you have to do is heat it up in warm water. The end result is a juicy, versatile sausage which goes well with many different dishes.
